Description

61-Power Conditioning and Continuation Interfacing Equipment F42630-01-R-2014 Power Conditioning and Continuation Interfacing Equipment. A seven (7) year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract will be issued to procure Static Uninterruptible Power Supplies (SUPS), Ancillary Equipment, Site Surveys, Training, and Spare Parts Packages (SUPS and Ancillary Equipment). The contract will include installation and checkout of the SUPS Systems at various sites world wide. The sites will be identified and authorized via an individual delivery order for each site. The procurement will be accomplished by using Source Selection procedures pursuant to FAR Part 15 and all applicable FAR Part 15 Supplements, i.e. AFFARS Part 15. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 07 May 2001 and will close on 20 Jun 2001. Electronic procedures via the internet will be used for this procurement. The solicitation and all other information applicable to this procurement will be posted on web site http://contracting.hill.af.mil/html/pccie/pccie/HP.htm. As various requests and changes occur relative to this acquisition, they will be posted to this web site. Interested parties are encouraged to register at the bottom of the web site and to visit the site frequently. By registering, the interested party will be notified automatically via e-mail when any information is added, deleted, and/or changed on the web site. Until further notice, notification on this web site is the only notification of requests or changes that interested parties will receive. The approximate issue/response date will be 07 MAY 2001. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
