Description

The Government is seeking prospective sources for Cooperative Engagement Capability Transmit Modules and Receiver Modules. The specifications can be accessed www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm. Our potential future requirement is to purchase approximately 200,000 transmit modules and 60,000 receiver modules over a five-year ordering period. Accordingly, we would like to know whether there are any existing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products or Non-Developmental Items that satisfy the specification requirements, or whether an existing COTS product can be readily modified to meet the Government's needs. We would also like to hear from any prospective sources interested in developing products that do not already exist. Please provide estimated delivery/production lead times; budgetary cost estimates (both per unit costs and non-recurring engineering, if applicable); test data; product literature (including specification sheets, cuts, illustrations, and/or drawings); and any quality certifications (e.g., Mil-Stds or ISO-9001) that may apply. This Request for Information is not an intent to purchase and does not obligate the Government to purchase any of these modules. If a formal requirement results, a separate procurement solicitation will be developed and posted on the Commerce Business Daily website and NAVSEA Crane's homepage.
