Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAKF06-01-T-0039 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. This will be an unrestricted acquisition using (SIC) NAICS Code/Size Standard: 332212/500. Quotations should be quoted in accordance with the following requirement: (1) 47 each general mechanic tool kits, customized Craftsman industrial tools or equal. Hand tools shall have an unlimited lifetime warranty. Call Patricia Collins, Contract Specialist, at (719) 526-2070 for a list of tools comprising the tool kit; and (2) 1 each tool kit, customized Craftsman industrial tools or equal. Kits shall be delivered by 30 April 2001. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, are applicable to this solicitation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Offerors shall include with their offer a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (02/2000) is hereby incorporated by reference, and the following clauses are applicable and incorporated by reference: 52.222-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities, 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity, 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans of the Vietnam Era, 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities, 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and 52.232-36 Payment by Third Party. The DFARS clause 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration, DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions to Commercial Items, DFARS 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program, is applicable to this solicitation.
