Description

Fire shelters and components shall be manufactured IAW Forest Services Specification NSN 4240-01-121-8698,5100-320G(6/98), 5100-321F (6/98), 5100-322D (6/98), 5100-323B (6/98), 5100-1A, 5100-86 (7/99), MTDC 663D (6/98), MTDC 662D (6/98), MTDC 829C (6/98)-4240-01-123-1616, 5100-320G (6/98), 5100-321F (6/98), 5100-1A, MTDC 663D (6/98) and 8465-01-121-8699, 5100-322D (6/98), 5100-86 (7/99) and MTC 662D (4/99). You may obtain copies of the above by e-mailing me with your FedEx number and complete mailing address. To obtain a copy of NFPA 1977 call 1-800-344-3555. Manufacturers providing protective clothing and equipment for wildland firefighting should be ISO 9001 registered and all wildland fire fighting component manufacturers should be the same.
