Description

The Air Armament Center, 46th Test Wing, intends to solicit, negotiate, if necessary, and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to American Superconductor, 2 Technology Drive, Westboro, MA 01581, for 2 Cryorefrigrators for the KVACC system. Each Cryorefrigerator shall include the following: Part Number AL300 Cold heat, CP970 Water Cooled Compressor Package, 34_x 10_ S.S., Flexible line, Tool kit, Spare parts kit and manual. Labor requires cutting apart, re-welding, and leak testing refrigerator vessel. All responses must be received in this office not later than 4:00 p.m., Central Daylight Savings Time on 04 May 01, in order to be considered. Anticipated award date is 08 May 01. The appropriate North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 333415, with a small business standard size of 750 employees.
