Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and NO WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) F49642-01-T-0144. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97.8. The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure for purchase the following item(s). CLIN 0001, quantity 2 each, BRAND NAME OR EQUAL, John Deere Lawnmower, K series, FD 440 V, 15 HP, 2 cylinder four stroke gasoline engine, 2.5 gallon fuel tank, liquid cooling system with filter lubrication system, 3.2 PT with 38_ deck twin blades. This is FOB Destination _ all quotes should include packaging & delivery charges. Delivery by 11 May 2001. ONLY FAXED OR EMAILED QUOTATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED, and request must include name, address, cage code, tax I.D. number, DUNNS number, telephone number and business size/type. THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. If your company is a small business size, specify the type (e.g., woman-owned, minority owned, etc.). All contractors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award. Contractors can contact the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423. ***This solicitation has been amended to change the item description for CLIN 0001 and extend offer due date. The item description for CLIN 0001 is changed to read: "BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. John Deere lawnmower (model LX279), 17 HP liquid cooled engine with 42" cutting deck." Offer due date is hereby extended from 13 Apr 01 to 20 Apr 01. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.***
