Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Installation of Furniture and Related Equipment at Naval Support Activity, Air Passenger Terminal, Rooms G031, B009, G006, Capodichino, Naples Italy in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Written quotations are being requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation # N62604-01-Q-2164 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24 and Defense Acquisition Circular Change Notice 20001213. This acquisition is Set-Aside for Small Business. The standard classification code is 484210; small business size standard is $18.5. There is one (1) contract line item consisting of Installation Services. The tentative install date is end of MAY, or early JUNE of 2001. CBC Gulfport will deliver furniture and equipment to Naples Italy for further coordinated delivery and installation. Point of contact is ENS Richard Kelly, Public works Department, and Naples Italy. Government requires installer to unpack container and disperse products to areas shown on drawings (to be provided at time of award); coordinate delivery with point of contact in Naples: off load containers outside the building; Installation and assembly in accordance with manufacturers specification removal and disposal of all trash and packing material in dumpster provided. Boxes are to be broken down before disposing in Dumpster; clean up and final inspection of product with the point of contacts for the projects. Offerors must, with their solicitation submit proof that they have performed work in Naples, Italy or surrounding areas. Additional Contract Terms and Conditions applicable to this procurement is Type of contract: A firm fixed-price contract will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award will be made to the offeror that meets the solicitation criteria and lowest price. The Government reserves the right to make award on the initial offer received without discussions. The Government reserves the right to eliminate from further consideration those proposals, which are considered non-responsive.
