Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses identified in FAR Subpart 12, FAC 97-3, as required. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541512 and the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7373. This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns. This is a firm-fixed price procurement using Commercial Procedures. This procurement is for the labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and installation of a telephone voice mail system located at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. Each unit shall conform to the following: PERFORMANCE/INTERFACE SPECIFICATIONS (or equal): -Interface to a 8000 Line Nortel MSL-100 Digital Switching System (DSS) -- Interface will be via ASCII SMDI link using Nortel NT1X89 Multi-Protocol Controller -- Capable of Computer Telephone Integration (CTI) for non- proprietary equipment -- Minimum Pentium 3 550 MHZ Rack Mountable (Upgradeable to Dual Processors) -- Minimum 256 MB RAM (Upgradeable to 384 MB) -- Minimum RAID 5 Controller w/ Hot Swappable power Supplies -- Minimum 10 ISA Slots, 2 PCI Slots, NT Server Software, 10/100 Network Card -- Minimum DAT Drive w/ Backup software -- Initial install of a 2000 user system, expandable to 10,000 -- Password protected, minimum of eight digits, for security -- Provide personalized voice messaging management from any worldwide telephone -- Create personalized greeting for callers, leave caller notification of where you are -- Create a personal assistant if callers cannot leave a message, transfers to another party in office -- Manage your voice messages -- - Electronic forwarding of messages to another voice processing user, with comments -- - Electronic reply to messages received in your personal voice box -- - Create voice messages and send to an individual user of distribution list of users -- Play, Pause, Rewind, Fast Forward, or skip messages while listening -- Provide call processing capability, transfer callers to any party on the host MSL-100 DSS -- Minimum of 30 minutes storage of messages for users for future reference -- Flexible message addressing options available for the user -- Mark voice messages for Return Receipt -- Mark messages for confidentiality, disallow the forwarding of these messages -- Mark messages for future delivery, make the message now and deliver it next week -- Flexible notification of awaiting messages -- Light on Telephone or stuttered (broken) dial tone -- Up to four additional notification calls (Base Telephones, Pagers, Cellular telephones) -- Automated directory assistance for users on the system -- Automated attendant -- Push the button call direction ( Press 1 for _Press 2 for) -- Automated voice informational directories -- Question and Answer Voice Mail boxes -- Expandable to include Facsimile integration -- Create personal FAX boxes for individual users, receive faxes to your account -- Fax on demand, retrieve documents automatically that are stored on the main system -- Expandable to include Desktop integration -- Interface to Microsoft Outlook to manage E-Mail, Voice, and Fax messages "Point and Click_ management of all messages on one multi-media platform Solicitation Number: F38601 01 Q0056 Offering Manufacturer's Name and Address: _______________________________________________________ Quoted By: _____________________________________________ Prompt Payment Discount Terms: ___________________________ Delivery Time: __________________________________________ Is Offeror CCR Registered?
