Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0166 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). These requirement is Sole Source to Insight Technology Inc, 3 Technology Drive, Londonderry NH, 03053. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24 and DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 333314 and the size standard is 500 employees. These requirements must match form fit and function with existing Infrared Target Pointer Illuminator. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001; 80 each Itpial Assy, P/N ITP-501, CLIN 0002; 91 each Cable Assy 12in, P/N ITP-053, CLIN 0003; 91 each cap lens diffuser, P/N ITP-054, CLIN 0004; 91 each cap lens neutral, P/N ITP-087, CLIN 0005; 141 each Cord assy cotton, P/N 7B-306, CLIN 0006; 285 each cover battery box, P/N A3186954 CLIN 0007; 184 each, fasten loop, P/N ITP-044 CLIN 0008; 184 each lens tissue, P/N M30-005 CLIN 0009; 141 each machine screw, P/N ITP-076 CLIN 0010; 70 each plug assy, P/N HKL-313 CLIN 0011; 14 each Rail Grabber P/N ITP-090 CLIN 0012; 241 each Dial Knob Lock elec P/N ITP-022 CLIN 0013; 91 each Strap Retainer P/N ITP-809 CLIN 0014;188 each Retaining Washer, P/N 4B-819. Delivery is required F.o.B. Destination. First shipment shall be 30 days after award. Various quantities per each CLIN shall be shipped to multiple locations. Acceptance location is Origin. These locations and quantities shall be determined at a later date. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
