- Description
- 1.Upsizing of undersized hoist components, replacing out-of-tolerance components with new, alignment and balancing of upgraded/repaired hoist train, and addition of load cells on critical structural and hoist components, in order to correct balance problems, component misalignment and harmonic imbalance problems. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications package. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-Rom format only. EBS CD-ROM compact disks with plans and specs will be available on or about 1 May 2001 at no charge per set. The disks will be issued on a first come, first served basis until supply is exhausted. Requests must be made by completing the form at: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/. No phone or fax requests accepted. After the solicitation is issued, compact disks will be mailed to registered firms. The disks may also be picked up from Seattle District's Contracting Division located at 4735 East Marginal Way South, Seattle, WA Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Register at the web site at least 7 calendar days before the issue date to assist in having an adequate number of disks made. Estimated dollar value is in the range of $250,000.00 to $500,000.00 with a completion period of 90 calendar days. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code has been replaced by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code. The NAICS code for this project is 234990, which is matched to SIC Code 1629. Project is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $27.5 million.
