Description

HQ, OSC intends to solicit, negotiate and award, under the authority of FAR 6.302, with only one source, (Kone Elevator, Moline, IL), PR NO. 2000-2641, Upgrade Elevators, Bldgs. 350 and 90, located at Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. Principle features of work are: provide and install new PLC elevator controller, hall and cab pushbuttons, floor indicators, SCR drive, isolation transformer, vane position indicators, hoistway wiring, traveling cables, cab door operator motor, cab and counterweight roller guides, smoke detectors, power and control wiring and conduit, unit heater smoke damper, relays, electrical panels, fire alarm controllers cards, and breakers. Est. Price Range: Between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Type of Contract: Firm-Fixed Price Construction. Approximate Issue Date: April 13,2001 with closing date 21 days from issue. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
