- OR BLM 99-35(4), HULT POND BRIDGE, Eugene District BLM, Lane County, Oregon. Initial Notice posted to Commerce Business Daily CBDNet on March 20, 2001, and printed issue date on March 23, 2001. BY ISSUE OF THIS MODIFICATION, WE ANNOUNCE THIS SOLICITATION IS A HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Presolicitation notices are being sent to firms on this agency's mailing list concurrently with the publication of this synopsis. This project consists of one bridge replacement. Project includes construction survey & staking; contractor sampling & testing; construction schedules; removal of bridge & markers; 80 m silt fence; 30 m absorbent boom; 325 cu m excavation & embankment; 100 cu m structure excavation; 120 cu m riprap, placed, class I; 40 t roadway aggregate, method 1; 143 m concrete filled steel pipe piles, in place; 47 cu m structural concrete; 3 ea deck bulb tee girder; 3,650 kg reinforcing steel, epoxy coated; 53.8 m steel bridge railing; 2.52 sq m signs; 4 ea markers; and other smaller items of work. Project is located approximately 35 km NW of Eugene, Oregon. Work shall be completed by 10-15-01. Estimated price range is between $200,000 and $400,000. The following applies only to Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs): The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance, and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at prime rate.
