Description

On 12 March two separate announcements were posted to the CBD concerning Technology Expositions at Eglin AFB FL. One was scheduled for 27 April and the other for 10 May. These expos are not being sponsored by the Air Armament Center at Eglin AFB. The 27 April exposition is actually being held at the Radisson Hotel in Ft Walton Beach Florida. The exposition advertised for 10 May will not be held on-site at Eglin AFB FL. The Eglin Small Business Office is currently the focal point for Technology Expositions at Eglin. They normally will be held twice a year and although not limited to small businesses, emphasis is placed on technology from the small business community. The last expo was held 6 March at the Eglin Enlisted Club. There were 26 exhibitors and six of them were large business. Participation is by invitation only and emphasis is placed on technology relevant to Eglin AFB (see our CBD notice posted 2 Jan 2001). A date has not been set for the next expo; however, if you are interested in participating you may send an e-mail to patty.uhrig@eglin.af.mil.
