Description

The Army Telecommunications Directorate (ATD) has a requirement for dark fiber for USASA SOUTHCOM, USASA-USSOUTHCOM, and USA BASEOPS for Miami, Florida. The proposed contract is for base year with four, one-year options. Currently, there is no vendor providing "dark fiber" for any USSOUTHCOM or ASA requirement. Other communications links are currently provided by local exchange services. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC Code 4813/NAICS 51331 AND 51333 with size standard of 1500 employees. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information contained in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested through the Interactive Business Opportunities Page.
