Description

The US Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, White Sands Contracting Division, at White Sands Missile Range, NM 88002, intends to procure 4 each EBD Membrane Stacks, P/N MK-III-3, which are direct replacement parts for a patented desalination system. The Govenment intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, under the authority of FAR 6.302, from IONICS, Inc, 65 Grove Stm Watertown, MA A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS code is 22.
