DESC: NSN: 1015-01-203-2735, Part Number 12337127, The item to procure is a GUN Mount Rotor. Requirements are 17 Each, Gun Mount Rotor, Machined from an armor steel casting approximate 12.0 inches x 23.0 inches x 31.0 inches with close tolerances. Charpy impact test, radiographic inspection, phosphate coating and color 383 green is required. This item has complex tooling for the armor casting. FOB is Destination. For use on the M1A1/M1A2 Abrams Tank. Estimated issue date is April 18,2001. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hard copies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside.
