Description

THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. Work consists of fabrication, delivery, and installation of several steel stairway systems. The stairways will provide access to areas where there are valves and piping at the juvenile fish facility at the dam. Stairways consist of stair sections, landings, platforms, and handrails. Some concrete work is required including footings of maximum size 14' x 4' x 2.5'. Stair treads, and landing and platform walkways are steel bar gratings. Steel to be coated by painting or galvanizing. All work will be performed in the dry at the juvenile fish facility. Access into some of the installation areas for construction equipment such as trucks and cranes will be difficult due to the structural complexity and quantity of piping at the juvenile fish facility. The estimated cost range for this job is between $250,000 and $500,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 234990. The small business size standard is average annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must not exceed $27,500,000. All responsible small business sources may submit an offer, which may be considered.
