Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to complete the Buck Boulevard Substation -- Phase I construction. The work includes:(1)Phase I construction of new 230/161-kV Buck Boulevard Substation. Includes two Breaker-and-a-half bays and two 2-breaker bays. (2)Modifications to existing Blyth Substation. Includes modification of existing bus-tie bay to a line bay, construction of new bus-tie bay, and upgrade of 161-kV bus. (3) Construction of new Blythe-Buck Boulevard Transmission Line. Constructed at 230-kV on steel poles and double-circuited with Parker-Blythe No. 1 Transmission Line. Standard Industrial Classification Code 1629(NAICS 234990) Unrestricted solicitation. All responsible bidders will be considered. Estimated cost of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Period of Performance: All work shall be completed by February 15, 2002.
