Description

Furnish all necessary labor and materials to construct two new stand-alone buildings. Work includes, but is not limited to, selective site demolition, site grading and utilities, landscaping and irrigation, new paved parking area with concrete curb, gutter and sidewalks, new building construction including reinforced concrete foundations, structural steel, metal stud framing, exterior brick veneer, exterior insulation and finish systems, structural standing seam metal roofing, interior finishes and millwork, plumbing, HVAC, electrical power, lighting and communications. All work will provide complete and usable facilities in accordance with the Statement of Work for Project VNVP 971087, Construct Courtroom Building, and for Project VNVP 013003, Construct Law Center. This solicitation is being issued for full and open competition under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and has a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 23332, size standard $27M. Project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Performance period for VNVP 971087, Construct Courtroom Building, is 180 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. Performance period for VNVP 013003, Construct Law Center, is 210 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. Both performance periods will run concurrently. Solicitation will be available on or about 15 May 2001. All contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award.
