SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a Sources Sought Announcement. This is not a Solicitation. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. This is for information purposes only. The New York District is conducting market research to seek SMALL BUSINESS construction firms under NAICS Codes 234930, and 234990/SIC CODE 1629 with a size standard of 27 million. Interested firms should submit a statement indicating capabilities related to the NAICS Code, bonding capacity, prior or ongoing Government contracts, whether firm is certified as a Hub-Zone, Women-Owned, 8(a), Veteran or Disabled Veteran. Marine construction firms are encouraged to submit data. Firms are requested to indicate their interest in Design-Build projects. Limit responses to 3 pages. Statements should be submitted by 18 April 2001, to Kathleen Hirschy, 26 Federal Plaza, Room 21-130E, New York, NY 10278-0090 or e-mailed to Kathleen.hirschy@usace.army.mil. However, the market research is an ongoing process, and responses received after the specified date will be appreciated. All information submitted is at the respondent's expense. Responses will be utilized to compile a listing of small businesses.
