Description

NORTH COUNTRY NATIONAL SCENIC TRAIL #1001. The project includes providing all labor, transportation, materials, supervision and incidentals to perform construction of fourteen miles of the North Country National Scenic Trail #1001 located on the Sheyenne Ranger District of the Dakota Prairie Grasslands. Work includes excavating the trail tread and filling back with compacted aggregate surfacing, and supply and install self-closing gates in accordance with specifications. The project is located from Libson, ND go 12 miles East on State Highway 27, to the junction of Highway 27 and Milnor Road go South on Milnor Road to start of project which is the Southern trailhead of the North Country Trail in the NW 1/4 of Section 27, Township 134 North, Range 54 West and the end of the project is in the SE 1/4 of Section 28,Township 135 North, Range 53 West. The price range is from $25,000 -- $100,000. There will be 120 calendar days for completion of this project with an estimated start date of July 1, 2001. This project is not set aside for small business concerns. There will be a prebid showing of the project on May 18, 2001.
