Description

Perform ground application of herbicides from four wheel drive truck, ATV, or hand (backpack) in rugged terrain to accomplish the following: The level of effort is aimed at controlling knapweed species, musk thistle and scotch thistle within the range areas and broad leaf species and bare ground control in designated developed or improved areas at Yakima Training Center. Contractor shall select the appropriate application equipment for the various vegetation control tasks. These applications will be performed at various locations throughout Yakima Training Center, a 357,000 acre sub-installation of Fort Lewis located Northeast of Yakima, Washington. Performance period will be from April to September 2001. The proposed procurement is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The size standard is any concern including its affiliates with an average annual sales or receipts for its preceding three fiscal years not in excess of $5 million. SIC code: 0721. NAICS: 115112.
