Description

DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6; as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award an indefinite-delivery type contract for one base year and two one-year options to furnish and deliver Graded Aggregate Base; Type 1 and 3 RipRap Stone; and #2 and #57 Stone. Destination site is Allatoona Lake, Cartersville, Georgia. Commercial item provisions 52.212-1/3/4 and 5 apply. This procurement is unrestricted and all responsive, responsible offers will be considered. The SIC is 3281 (NAICS 327991), the size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates, does not exceed 500 employees. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. Offerors are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet and download the solicitation at the following Internet site: http://www.sam.usace.army.mil/sam/ct. Offers will be due on 30 April 2001. NO TELEPHONE, FAXED OR MAILED requests for solicitation will be accepted. Those registering are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the mailing list. Registration must include the firm's physical address, telephone, a valid fax number, and a point of contact. All notifications of changes to this solicitation shall be made through the Internet. Therefore, offerors who have registered are required to view the Internet daily for any posted changes to the solicitation.
