Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. The NAICS code is 333319. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This is an unrestricted procurement. The requirement consists of a scrubbervac that scrubs and vacuums hard floors all by itself, Robokent or equal. The scrubber vac is controlled by computers, sophisticated sensors and an electronic navigation system, cleans 10,000 to 13,000 square feet per hour, quantity of 12 each. Delivery required by 15 June 2001 to West Point, NY 10996, FOB destination. The provision at 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items does not apply in that award will be made to the lowest priced offeror who meets the USMA requirements. Offerors are instructed to include a completed copy of the following with their offer: FAR 52.212-3 Alt I and Alt III,Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items, FAR 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items and FAR 252.225-7000 Buy American Certificate-Balance of Payments Program Certificate. Additional requirements include a three year bumper to bumper warranty that covers entire machine, parts and labor and all software upgrades.
