Description

DESC: Delete the entire description and replace with the following: Provide all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and appliances necessary to perform all operations in connection with the replacement and repair of roofs, including associated installation items, on various structures located at Fort Drum and associated Army Family and Community Housing units, in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications, and drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The contract type shall be "Firm Fixed Price Requirements Construction". This will be 100% HUBZone set-aside procurement under the authority of FAR Subpart 19.1305, HUBZone set-aside procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 235610. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $11,500,000. The contract duration will be a base year plus 2 one-year options. This procurement is estimated to be between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 (base plus 2 option periods). The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about May 1, 2001. The DUE DATE for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drum's Web Page. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will not be mailed out and no Bidder's Mailing List (BML) will be maintained. The entire bid package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page, no hard copies will be provided. All sources wishing to bid are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the solicitation. Failure to respond to any amendments may render the bid to be considered as non-responsive and thereby rejected. The bids must be supplied in hard copy form to the Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY, no electronic bids will be accepted.
