Description

ISSUE DATE: 04/20/2001. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to renovate gymnasium bathrooms, Air Station Cape Cod, Falmouth, MA. The work includes, but is not limited to the following: 1) Replace bathroom fixtures and accessories, flooring, toilet partitions and lighting. 2) Repair drywall, extend drywall partitions and paint all walls with solvent-based 3-color coating using Zolatone or Polomyx type paint products. 3) Install new suspended acoustical tile ceiling and aluminum grids. 4) Install new exhaust system. 5) Insulate water piping and replace small water heater. 6) Install lockers, benches, shower curtains, signage, and baby changing stations. 7) Create duct penetrations in exterior non-friable asbestos containing hardboard siding for new exhaust ductwork and concrete aprons. 8) Install concrete aprons. 9) Provide electrical work new exhaust systems, controls, lighting, existing circuitry tracing, and incidental work. The period of performance is 132 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, with actual on-site performance not to exceed 42 calendar days. The estimated cost range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation will be available on or about April 20, 2001. Bid opening is scheduled for 05/21/2001 at 2 pm.
