Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Planning Systems Incorporated, 7923 Jones Branch Drive, McLean, Virginia 22102 under the simplified acquisition threshold of $100,000. The requirement is for specialized engineering services to support the C2 portion of the PMA 264 (Anti-Submarine Warfare) Non-Traditional Acoustic Processing Program. To proceed with this C2 task, the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) database must be accessed, signals characterized, and selected data digitized and recorded on CD format. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
