Description

This is a synopsis/solicitation for commercial items for Medical Textbooks and Training materials, prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. This solicitation, number N00259-01-T-0028, is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-22 Solicitation incorporates the following FAR and DFARS clauses: 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (9/99), 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (2/00), 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (3/99), 52.212-5 Contract Terms and conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive orders-Commercial Items (2/00), the following clauses are incorporated by reference in paragraph (b) 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246), 52.222-35 Affirmative action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veteran (38 U.S.C. 4212), 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era(38 U.S.C. 4212), 52.222.36 Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers (29 U.S.C 793), 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (3/89), 52.225-11 Restriction on Certain Foreign Purchases (10/96), 252.225-7002 Qualifying Country Sources as Subcontractors (12/91), 252.225-7009 Duty Free Entry Qualifying Country Supplies (End Products and Components)(3/98), 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (5/99). Interested parties must complete and submit with their quotations FAR provision 52.212-3 prior to award. This acquisition is restricted. All interested parties may request for a solicitation package in writing only by conctacting Tess Bayquen at 619-532-8108 at Naval Medical Center, 34800 Bob Wilson Drive, Material Management Acquisition, San Diego CA 92134 or by Fax3619-532-5596. The government will evaluate the proposals based on: a) Price; b ) Delivery. Award will based on all or none basis. Quotes will be accepted until 3:30 p.m. Pacific Standard time on April 13, 2001.
