Description

Firm Fixed Price Bids will be solicited for the B-1 Weapons Release and Load Crew Training Facility, 116th Bomb Wing, Georgia Air National Guard, Robins AFB, Warner Robins, Georgia. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) for this acquisition is 233310. This construction is for a new facility of approximately 21,500 square feet. The type of work under this contract shall include, but is not limited to, site preparation, minor demolition, concrete slab, structural, electrical, communication, heating and air conditioning, plumbing, building and underground utilities, parking lot, curbing, and landscaping. Performance time is 240 calendar days. Estimated cost of construction is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The solicitation, plans and specifications will be ready for issue on /or about April 23, 2001. BIDS ARE DUE 2:00PM (EST), MAY 23, 2001. A Pre-bid Conference/walk-through will be held on May 8, 2001, 1:00PM (EST) at Robins AFB, Warner Robins, Georgia. This will be the only opportunity to review the job site prior to submission of bids. Send written requests for plans and specifications to USPFO for Georgia, Attn: Purchasing and Contracting, P.O. Box 17882, Atlanta, GA 30316-0882 or Fax to 404-624-6208. All requests must be in writing, no telephone requests will be accepted. All requests will be answered on a first-come, first serve basis until supply is exhausted. Because a limited number of sets will be reproduced, copies are limited to one set per firm, Prime Vendors only. There will be no hardcopies issued, CD-ROM will be the ONLY format available. There will be NO CHARGE for the solicitation package. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for this award. Award of project will be made on/or before JUNE 30, 2001. This acquisition is unrestricted.
