Description

The Department of Defense, Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division, (NAVEODTECCHDIV) is requesting information for a noncontact thermometer. Descriptive literature to include product data sheets, product quality, reliability, warranty, company points of contact and pricing information for state-of the-art commercial off the shelf (COTS) noncontact thermometer is requested. Desired system parameters: A device that measures between 0 and 500 F at a distance of a least 10 feet, uses a laser to designate area of temperature to be taken, gives a digital temperature readout, weighs less than a pound, is weatherproof, and uses common commercial batteries. The data collected from this market research effort will be used to understand commercial available items' ability to meet the projected needs and do not necessarily represent the minimum acceptable capabilities.
