Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number RFQ DAHA14-01-Q0001 is issued as a Request for Quotation, under simplified acquisition procedures and is automatically set-aside for small businesses. The FSC Code is 5820. The NAICS is 33422, with a size standard of 750 employees. The closing date will be 19 April 2001 by COB (4:00 PM Central Time Zone). Delivery is FOB Destination Kansas Air National Guard, McConnell AFB, KS 67221. Desired Delivery time is 30 days after receipt of order, required delivery time is 45 days ARO. The anticipated award date will be made on or before 30 April 2001. The Kansas Air National Guard intends to procure the following items: Item 1 -- 2 each PMB-100, 10 Watt Mobile System including Transceiver (URC-200), 12V Car Mounting Kit (UDD-100A) and Spring Loaded Radio Antenna with Mounting Kit (UVU-110S), Motorola PN: 01-P35846M001, and PTMP-150: Hand Microphone, Motorola PN: 50P39208N001. Item 2 1 each -- PMB-100, 10 Watt Mobile System including Transceiver (URC-200), 12V Car Mounting Kit (UDD-100A) and Spring Loaded Radio Antenna with Mounting Kit (UVU-110S), Motorola PN: 01-P35846M001, and PTMP-150: Hand Microphone, Motorola PN: 50P39208N001. This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-23 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DCN 20001213). The following FAR and DFARS provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose quote conforming to this synopsis/solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
