Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure three (3) each "Softlite" Ionomer Foam Fenders, NSN 2040-01-458-7979, manufactured in accordance with Coast Guard Drawing Number 47B MLB 611-020 Revision F. These Fenders are used on the 47' MLB Coast Guard vessels. It is the Government's belief that only Gilman Corporation has the capability to supply these Fenders. However, the Government is seeking qualified sources that also have the capability to manufacture these Fenders. Responsible sources interested in obtaining a copy of the referenced Drawing may do so by submitting a facsimile request to (410) 762-6056, attention Kelly Carney. This acquisition shall close of 15 April 2001. If no responses to this Notice are received, award of this requirement shall be made to Gilman Corporation on a sole-source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. See Numbered Note 22.
