Description

This project involves the upgrading/maintenance of Lake Tahoe Basin Forest Service roads and obliteration of select non-system roads over the next two years. Project will be a predominately service contract with some work requiring Davis Bacon labor rates. Work is in California and Nevada states in counties Eldorado, Nevada, Placer, Douglas, Carson and Washoe. Work includes but is not limited to grading, ditch pulling, spot rocking, spot paving, and culvert placement. Most roads can be accessed by US Highway 50, State Highways 28,89,267,431, and Pioneer Trail. Estimated solicitation issue date 04/26/01. Estimated start work date 06/01/2001.
