Description

The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and management necessary to supply three (3) specified vehicles for lease. The vehicle must have a diesel engine, four full size doors and four-wheel drive. The type of vehicle to be leased is a style cab- four door, wheel base -- as required, diesel engine, turbocharged -- minimum displacement 5.9 L, engine block heater included, transmission -- four speed automatic/HDA, body style -- flush side, alternator/battery -- 95A./600 CCA, cooling system -- HDA, differential, type/ratio -- OEM standard, transfer case -- two speed, suspension/shocks -- HDA, brakes -- Power/ABS, steering -- power, minimum payload -- 1134 KG or (2500 LB), minimum tire size, type/tread -- LT235R00/AT, minimum fuel capacity -- 128L or (34 GAL), hubs, front wheels locking -- OEM standard, minimum load-bed size -- 2.4M or (8FT), radio -- AM/FM, skid plates (SP) -- standard, bumper, rear type -- HD step, pickup cap -- fiber glass, wheels, diameter -- 16 inches single, minimum GVWR -- 4170 KG or (9200 LB), mirrors -- low mount, intermittent wipers, air conditioning, exterior color -- white, interior color -- gray or black, driver/passenger (fit) restraint system -- standard. The Gross Combination Weight Rating (GCWR) must be no greater than 10,000 lbs. The vehicle will be leased on a yearly basis. There will be a base year with two (2) option periods. The total contract performance will not exceed 36 months. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 53212, size standard 500. The Standard Industrial Code is 7513. The solicitation package will be available on the Internet for viewing and downloading approximately 10 April 2001. This will be the only method of receiving the specification and any amendments to the specification. The web site address is: esol.navfac.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register themselves on the web site. The official planholder's will be maintained and be printed from the web site.
