Description

You are invited to attend a Networking Session for A/E Design Services for the design of the Marine Corps Heritage Center Complex, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia. Small, Women Owned, and Small Disadvantaged Businesses are strongly encouraged to attend. The purpose of this session is to provide a networking opportunity for small, women-owned, and small disadvantaged businesses as well as other to meet with the key designers and their proposed production firms for potential teaming opportunities for A/E design services on the Marine Corps Heritage Center Complex. This session is intended to assist the four short-listed firms in meeting the established minimum goals for subcontracting. The four short listed firms are: Fentress Bradburn Architects of Denver, CO; HOK, Architects of Washington DC; Leo A. Daly of Washington DC; and Tuck Hinton Architects of Nashville, TN. The design effort includes fire protection sprinkler and alarms, electrical distribution, security systems, elevators, mechanical and plumbing systems, information/communications systems; utility connections, sitework, storm water management, landscaping, parking and sidewalks, force protection, interior design and sustainable design. The following information pertains to the Networking Session: Tentatively scheduled for 26 APR 2001, 1030-1200, Ballroom, Clubs at Quantico, Bldg. 3017, at Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA.
