Description

Furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies and supervision necessary to perform all work required to replace and or retrofit seven (7) medium voltage breakers with new air magnetic circuit breakers on the switchgear of Substation 5A, Fort Detrick, Maryland. Breakers shall be 5KV, 1200 AMES cont., 35000A I.C., three pole, single throw, floor rollout horizontal drawout type, mechanical and electrically trip free, with position indicator, operation counter, stored energy operating mechanism, primary disconnecting device or contacts, secondary disconnecting device or contacts, auxiliary switches, ground contacts, control wiring, and interlock. Reference Invitation For Bid (IFB) No. DAMD17-01-B-0001 available on or about 16 April 2001 and opening on or about 16 May 2001. All potential bidders are reminded, that pursuant to DFARS 252.204-7004, all Federal Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (CCR Website: www.ccr2000.com or http://www-usamraa.army.mil or request form at 1-800-334-3414). Electronic solicitations may be obtained at the following URL: http://www-usamraa.army.mil. Any amendments issued to this IFB will also be available at this URL. It is, therefore, the bidders' responsibility to check the above URL daily for any posted changes to the IFB. HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. NO PHONE REQUESTS FOR IFB PACKAGE WILL BE ACCEPTED. Bidders shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 at time and place specified in the IFB for bid opening. Bid will be publicly opened. Sealed envelopes containing bids shall be marked to show the bidder's name and address, the IFB No., and the date and time bids are due. The NAICS code for this requirement is 235310 with the size standard of $11.5M in average annual receipts. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000.
