Description

The Learning Support Division (LS) of the Office of Human Resources in the Management Bureau of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has a requirement for a Contractor to provide course design and implementation in five major areas of concentration that reflect a long-term training strategy. USAID anticipates awarding a 5 year fixed price Time and Materials contract. The five areas are: Executive and Senior Leadership; Supervisory/Management Skills; Acquisition and Assistance; New Entry Program; and Managing for Results (Including Financial Management). The course design and implementation activity is anticipated to be quite intense during the period of this contract as a result of new business process redesigns and concepts introduced in USAID during the past five (5) years. The objective of this contract consists of two parts: (a) The Contractor shall provide full-time KEY PERSONNEL in the development, implementation and support systems of training courses primarily for the Agency's Acquisition and Assistance (A&A) Training Program; and (b)The Contractor shall provide training experts on an "as needed" basis in various HR disciplines to ensure that the Agency receives quick response training. The Solicitation will be issued on or about April 17, 2001 and will close 30 days thereafter. No telephone request for solicitation package will be accepted. Only written, electronic and faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. Fax requests to 202/216-3132. The proposed procurement is 100 percent set-aside for Section 8(a) Contractors under the SBA Act. See Numbered Note 1.
