Description

This is an electronic solicitation, Webb Address: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, transportation, supervision, equipment, tools, gages, supplies, and materials necessary to perform preventive maintenance inspection, preventive maintenance service and non-destructive test of crane hooks and elevated crane trackage for all listed cranes and hoists in Section J of specification. This is a combination firm fixed price and indefinite quantity type contract. Performance time will be for twelve months from award. The total duration of the contract, including exercise of any options, shall not exceed five years. Bids will be considered from all responsible sources. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The related Small Business Size Standard is $5.0 million. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 811310. The specification will be available via Web on April 05, 2001. Prospective bidders are advised that a site visit will be held on April 2001 and April 18, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. For reservations, contact Don Westerlund at 562/626-7155, 48 hours in advance of the site visit.
