- Description
- This is a synopsis of a requirement for ship repair. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-01-Q-3FAD98. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, parts, services, and competence to complete the following dockside repairs on the USCGC BRAMBLE (WLB-392): 1. Clean, inspect, and test main propulsion generators, 2. Open and inspect main motor pedestal bearing, 3. Overhaul main motor blower, 4. Clean shipboard ventilation system, 5. Overhaul fire pumps, 6. Inspect and test air receivers, 7. Clean and inspect steering hydraulic pump/motor assembly, 8. Remove Sea Ark (UTL) hull paint, 9. Renew deck covering system, 10. Repair aft berthing head, 11. Provide temporary logistics. Place of Performance: Port Huron, MI. Performance period: June 18 to July 29, 2001. Specifications to be provided on request. A non-refundable charge of $100.00 required in the form of a certified check or money order payable to the U. S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offer: Price and technically acceptable.
