Description

NEWPORT RD PRECOMMERCIAL THINNING, R6-8-01-17, Forest Service seeks proposals for precommercial thinning of 1537 or more acres at various locations on the Newport Ranger District, Colville National Forest, near Newport, Washington, in Pend Oreille County. Colville National Forest is located in North East Washington State. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment tools, transportation, and supplies; have a Washington State Farm Labor License and MISPA registration. Contractor is also required to make rails, buck and limb, out of cedar thinned for use by the Government on other projects. No site visit is scheduled. An IDIQ contract with Option For Increased Quantities though exercising separately priced line items up to September 30, 2003 (with all work to be completed by 12-30-2003) will be awarded. Contract time for the initial task order is 120 workdays (Monday through Friday) estimated to start June 11, 2001. Contract Guarantee is $40,000 with 415 acres scheduled for the initial task order.
