Description

The USDA, Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Cotton Program, Memphis Tennessee, intends to acquire 38,000 woven polypropylene cotton sample sacks. Unit of issue is each. Bags shall meet the AMS specifications which will be provided. Bidders shall submit one sample woven polypropylene cotton sample sack to be delivered to Memphis Tennessee. Delivery is to several locations throughout the cotton growing regions of the United States is required starting July 1, 2001 through September 1, 2001. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. F.O.B: Destination. This solicitation number AMCODDXX-O14-1 is for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented as an Request for Proposal(RFP). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. Applicable FAR clauses are incorporated by reference: Prompt Payment 52.249-1; Fixed Price 52.243-1; Evaluation Commercial Items 52.52.212-3; Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items 52.212-5.
