Description

The Coast Guard Telecommunication and Information Systems Command (TISCOM) is seeking information ONLY on possible sources of supply for a Marine VHF Transceiver with the following capabilities: Marine Band 156-162 MHz, be able to record both transmit and receive audio signals, operate on 12V DC, be able to manually select channels/freqencies with a clear visual indication of the channel/frequency selected and/or scan selected frequencies, have audio speaker volume level control, have squelch level control, be able to dim the display to a non-illuminated level, b e able to select transmit power from a low of (1 watt) to a high of (25 watts) as desired for various operations and shall provide a clear visual indication of the power level being transmitted. This is not a solicitation for the above item(s) and the Coast Guard assumes no liablity or obligation to procure the item(s). A solicitation and/or an award for the item(s) may or may not be issued.
