- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Responses to this notice should be provided in writing by 10 Apr 01, 2:30 PM PST. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. The Government intends to procure 37 EA Compact Disk Recorder/Reproducers. Denon Part Number DN-951-FA, COMPACT DISC CART PLAYER; TABLE TOP; TWO CHANNEL STEREO/MONO SELECTABLE; XLR LINE LEVEL OUTPUTS; BAR CODE READING AUTO TRACK SELECT; PARALLEL REMOTE (25-PIN SUB-D) AND RS-422A SERIAL REMOTE (9-PIN SUB-D); AES/EBU DIGITAL OUTPUT; END OF MESSAGE (EOM) OUTPUT FROM 5 TO 35 SEC IN 5 SEC INCREMENTS; S/N RATIO 92DB WEIGHTED; THD 0.01% OR LESS; COMES WITH OPERATOR MANUAL; PWR RQMTS: 120/220VAC, 50/60HZ (SELECTABLE). The items shall be delivered FOB destination 30 days after receipt of order to the McClellan CA 95650. This procurement is 100 percent set-aside for small business participation. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The brand named items have been identified as meeting or exceeding the Government's minimum requirements, but are not established as standards upon which other offered brand named items will be evaluated. If the equipment proposed is the same as in the solicitation (i.e., same manufacturer and part number), the offeror need only make a statement to that effect. If the offeror is proposing other manufacturers or part numbers, the offeror shall identify the manufacturer and part number. The offeror shall also provide complete technical data. It is the offeror's responsibility to provide sufficient technical data to allow the Government to determine if the proposed substitution meets the Governments needs. All proposals received by the time established for the receipt of proposals will be considered by the Government. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this quotation, Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. To register, you may apply through the Internet at "http://ccr.2000.com". You must include your Dun & Bradstreet (DUNS) number in order to apply. The following provisions apply to this solicitation and, to the degree applicable, to any resulting contract. Clauses may be found on the Internet at http://www.arnet.gov/far, http://www.farsite.hill.af.mil, and http://www.dtic.mil/dfars FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.252-2, FAR 52.202-1, FAR 52.204-4, DFARS 252.204-7004, FAR 52.212-2 -- Award will be made to the low priced, technically acceptable offeror. Past performance will also be considered, but will be of lesser importance than the other two factors. FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.212-5, including the following sub-clauses, 52.203-6, 52.219-8, 52.219-9, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33, DFARS 52.212-7000, DFARS 52.212-7001, including the following sub-clause, 252-243-7002. DLAD Clause 52.0233-4001, Agency Protests, also applies. The following marking instructions apply: The Contractor shall attach two (2) copies of a detailed packing list in each box or container with unlike items where the full description of the contents is not authorized or cannot be shown. Include one (1) copy of the packing list inside the box or container and attach one (1) copy of the packing list on the outside of the box or container. The outside of the box or container should also include the complete shipping address as provided in the schedule. Marking Instructions: The packing list shall contain the following information: (a) Contract number/Purchase Order number (b) Package number and set number (if any) of the container. (c) A list of the contents which shows the quantity by item, item description, part number, type and size, unit of issue if other than each. The government may not accept items shipped without a packing list especially when the content of the package is unidentifiable; rejected items will be returned at the contractor's expense.
