Description

The Marine Corps Support Activity has a requirement for commercial vegetative management. Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and transportation necessary to perform mowing, pruning/shaping, herbicide around fencing, fertilizing, mulching/woodchips and brush removal services for the Marine Corps located at Richards-Gebaur memorial airport , Kansas City, Missouri. The contract period is 1 May 2001 or date of award, through 31 October 2001 with an option for three additional years. Level of effort including trimming around equipment, hydrants and similar items will be in accordance with drawings and specifications. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561730 will apply with a size standard of $5 million is applicable to this acquisition. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid. The solicitation will be made available on or about 4 April 2001 with a closing date of 24 April 2001. The solicitation will be made free of charge in either paper or electronic format.
