Description

SUBJECT: X-Ray Diffractometer Hardware/Software Upgrade. DESC: The U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), Pittsburgh, P, for our site Albany Research Center, 1450 Queen Ave SW, Albany, OR 97321, intends to award a purchase order on a sole-source basis to Philips Analytical Inc., Natick, MA to purchase the following hardware/software package consisting of (a) X'Pert Industry, part number 9430.927.00861 -- 2 each; (b) X/Pert Organizer SW, part number PW3210/92 -- 2 each; (c) X'Pert Graphics SW, part number PW3201/92 -- 1 each; (d) X'Pert Identify SW, part number PW3202/92 -- 1 each; (e) Reference Database, part number PW1894/92 -- 1 each; (f) ProFit Win SW, part number PW3205/92 -- 1 each; (g) Line profile Analysis WIN SW, part number PW3206/82 -- 1 each; (h) X'Pert Plus PW, part number PW3207/92 -- 1 each; (i) Computer, WIN-NT, part number PN3742/14 -- 2 each; (j) Color Printer, part number PN3730/60 -- 2 each; (k) Training at Customer's Site, part number PN3870/33 -- 1 each; and (l) Installation -- NPN. The hardware/software package must be compatible with the existing X-Ray Diffratometer. This request is considered to be sole source to Philips Analytical Inc. Therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement. This acquisition shall be conducted under FAR Part 13 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for commercial items. Responses other than the above source may identify their capabilities to provide the requirements by submitting a proposal in writing. Proposal shall include complete address, point of contact, phone, fax and business size. Responses shall be received by 5:00 PM EST 13-April-2001 at the facsimile (412) 386-5770.
