Description

The Lassen National Forest intends to acquire services to provide for watershed protection and restoration through road reconstruction and road decommissioning. Work will consist of repairing or modifying existing roads to improve drainage function, including outsloping, rocking w/aggregate base, and constructing low water crossings. Work under this contract will also include measures that restore hillslope hydrolic function by removing drainage structures, ripping compacted areas, and recontouring as needed. A pre-bid tour is scheduled for June 6, 2001 at the Almanor Ranger Station, Chester, CA 96020. Desired date for starting work is July 1, 2001. This solicitation will be available on or around May 15, 2001. This project is 100% set aside for small business. NAICS 115310 size $5.0
