Description

The National Park Service, Southeast Utah Group, Moab UT 84532, intends to issue a Solicitation (IFB) for surface treatment of roadways (chip seal and fog coat), in Arches National Park, Grand County, UTAH and Canyonlands National Park, Island in the Sky district, San Juan County, UTAH, near Moab UT. The Base Bid work consists of the following; The Windows Road, Route 11 (ARCHES) -- approx. 2.8 mile of Chip Seal and Fog Seal; Island in the Sky, Route 11 (Canyonlands) -- approx. 8.6 miles of Chip Seal and Striping. Additives include the following; Island in the Sky, Route 114 (Canyonlands) -- approx 4.6 miles of Chip Seal and Striping, Island in the Sky, Route 11 (Canyonlands) -- approx. 8.6 miles of Fog Seal; and Island in the Sky, Route 114 (Canyonlands)- approx. 4.6 miles of Fog Seal. Estimated price range $300,000 to $500,000. All requests for the solicitation must be in writing and sent to the Attention of BILL SPIGEL, Contracting Officer.
