- Description
- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) proposes to negotiate a sole source follow-on contract with Impact Marketing and Communications, 3909 McKinley Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20008 to continue identifying, developing, and marketing communications products that effectively convey information about programs and accomplishments of the Ryan White CARE Act. This contractor will continue providing these services to 1) assist Federal staff and grantees in implementing CARE Act programs and services, particularly in light of the 2000 reauthorization of the CARE Act; and 2)effectively communicate outcomes and successes of CARE Act programs among program and public constitutencies. Impact Marketing and Communications has been working with the HRSA Office of Communications and Information Dissemination in developing strategies for researching, enhancing, packaging, disseminating, and evaluating this information and its utility for its primary end users, CARE Act grantees, as well as many other audiences. These include people living with HIV/AODS (PLWH), clinicans and other care providers, private sector HIV/AIDS organizations, the U.S. Congress, and other Federal, State, and local agencies. Without the established relationships with these audiences and organizations, this continued support cannot expect to obtain the coordination and cooperation essential for a successful project without a duplication of costs. Impact Marketing and Communication is the only responsible source capable of providing the continued work and services as set forth in 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) is on file. Interested parties may, in writing, identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within 15 days of publication of this notice. See Note 22.
