Description

The Indian Health Service (IHS)is soliciting proposals from interested physicians located in Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah to provide physician services in the field of general medicine, surgery, pediatrics, orthopedics, rehabilitation, neurlogy, dental, neonatal, and perinatal care, cancer irradiation, radium therapy, diagnostic, radioscope, physical therapy, hemodialysis and occupational therapy to eligible Indian beneficiaries referred by the IHS Area Offices of Phoenix, Window Rock and Tucson, AZ and Albuquerque, NM. Such care shall include outpatient, inpatient and all supporting services and facilities normally part of such care. Contract awards will be made to those physicians who agree to accept payment ini full reimbusement at rates no higher than the prevailing Medicare allowable rates (including deductibles and co-payment). Closing date for receipt of proposals is continuous through March 31, 2002. Multiple awards will be made for a twelve month period, with 4-one year options. RFP 870 may be obtained by requesting to the above address. Proposals will be accepted and negotiations will be conducted through March 31, 2002.
