Description

The Indian Health Service (IHS) is soliciting proposals from interested hospitals located in Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah to provide all necessary resources, personnel, drugs, supplies, equipment and facilities for complete emergency, urgent and elective inpatient and outpatient hospital services. Services to be provided to eligible Indian beneficiaries referred by the IHS Area Offices of Phoenix, Window Rock, and Tucson, AZ and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Contract awards will be made to those hospitals who agree to accept as payment in full, reimbursement at rates no higher than the prevailing Medicare allowable rates (including deductibles and co-payment). Closing date for receipt of proposals is continuous through March 31, 2002. Multiple awards will be made for a twelve month period, with 4-one year options. RFP 869 may be obtained by requesting to the above address. Proposals will be accepted and negotiations will be conducted through March 31, 2002.
